We all know an engaged workforce is a productive, loyal workforce and yet it’s continually a challenge to determine the best ways to support employees.
Engagement is not a one-and-done event. It must be ongoing, and organizations that include regular recognition as part of their culture have more engaged employees.
At the #SHRM19 Conference, the first session I sat in, Delivering Happiness, the first question Jenn Lim asked us “what’s one weird thing that you love?” And of course, I came up with livetweeting HR conferences.
On June 23, Jon and I had the honor of speaking at the Emerging Professionals session at #SHRM19. Check out all the Tweets that others shared here. When we were asked, at first we wondered what on earth we could possibly talk about. And then, of course, it was clear, sharing with these emerging professionals, how we found our voice & how they can find theirs.
In this special SHRM19 episode, Wendy is joined by Caron Greaves, managing director of Choice HR Limited. We talk about reward & recognition and you will get a few great ideas from the conversation - but be sure to hit her session for more great ways to engage your employees.
In this special 2019 SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition episode Wendy is joined by SHRM19 speaker S. Renee Smith, speaker, author & coach. She will be talking about personal brand and we have a great conversation around some of what she will be sharing in her presentation and pre-conference workshop.
Louis R Lessig, Esq, SPHR, SHRM-SCP is a partner at the law firm of Brown & Connery LLP in Westmond NJ in their labor and employment group and a regular speaker at the SHRM conference. At SHRM18, you have three opportunities to hear him:
When I first started this blog, one of my “pie in the sky” goals was to be invited to be a part of the 2018 SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition blog squad. I didn’t know how people are chosen for the squad, but I put it out on Twitter during #SHRM17. The universe must have heard me, because I now get to #ExpandMyWorld and share that with others at #SHRM18 as I have been invited to be a part of the #SHRM18 #BlogSquad!
