Sign-up for SHRM21 Virtually or in-person at least two people from your organization. Why? There are so many events it’s best to divide and conquer

Identify Your development opportunities share with your supervisor your professional goals as you participate in the conference. I built my business case to attend based upon areas that were identified for growth and performance goals.

Identify your team’s development opportunities if you have direct reports or you are a functional leader, seek out resources that will help you and your team. From SHRM19, I was able to share some outstanding information regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) which continues to pay benefits daily.

Identify Your Organization’s Strategic Priorities what content could be most beneficial for your clients and the total organization. As an HR Director, I was able to share data-based actionable business insights on retention and more. My clients and leadership team were pleased.
