#SHRM19 Interview is with Frasco Profiles

This 2019 SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition interview is with Frasco Profiles, a provider of background, drug testing, and other exams. Below is a quick Q&A with the company.

Who is Frasco Profiles!? Tell us everything, just as you would someone approaching your booth and asking you this question at SHRM ‘19 in Las Vegas.

Frasco Profiles is a founding member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners and has been in business for 55 years!  We are laser focused on legal compliance, boast a seamless state-of-the art system, and strive to provide white glove service to clients and their candidates.  We work with all types of clients, from multinational organizations to small business owners in all industries, and work especially well within regulated industries.  We offer several pre-installed HRIS/ATS integrations and our onboarding protocol makes moving to Frasco Profiles super easy.

Let us in on the magic. What’s the hiring process like at Frasco? How do you utilize your own tech and processes to ensure the best fit?

We believe fully in the products and services we sell, we use a robust HRIS system and our own technology to recruit, screen, and onboard employees quickly and easily. Candidate fit is determined through keyword algorithms, video screening, group interviews and even social media screening. Frasco is a core-values focused company, so cultural and philosophical fit is really important to us.

What are the biggest challenges companies face when screening potential employees? How do they overcome those challenges?

With unemployment hovering around 4 percent applicants are in the driver seat. Screening has to be quick, seamless and mobile friendly to keep candidates engaged. Statistics also show that candidates are looking for a philosophical fit. Frasco provides multiple opportunities to reinforce the employer’s brand and philosophy, including a customizable applicant interface with client logos and messaging on all candidate-facing communications. HRIS/ATS integrations also eliminate duplicate data entry, reducing keystroke errors and speeding up the process.

What do you wish more HR professionals and recruiters knew about your screening solutions?

How important is correct placement in employee retention?

Getting the right employees into the right seats is probably the single biggest predictor of a company’s success.  Not only does it increase productivity exponentially, but helps create and maintain a healthy morale in the workplace – and substantially reduces turnover - all driving profit to the bottom line.  Employees want to do well, and when they are continually playing to their strengths, everyone benefits.
