#SHRM17 Opportunities for SHRM Certificants

 

 

A wealth of opportunities awaits SHRM-certified professionals at the SHRM 2017 Annual Conference & Exposition in New Orleans, to be held June 18-21. Special events and resources will enable certificants to earn recertification credits, learn, network—and even take a moment to relax amid the hubbub. 

SHRM Certification Lounge. A dedicated space reserved for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP credential-holders, located in the Connection Zone. Recharge yourself and your phone, grab a snack, or chat with certified peers. Certification counselors will be on hand to discuss ways to earn professional development credits (PDCs) and how to maintain your SHRM credential.

  • SHRM Certification: An Update on the Global Standard for HR Certification, presented by Alexander Alonso, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SHRM's senior vice president for knowledge development and certification. The latest developments concerning your credentials and what they mean for your day-to-day work. (June 18, noon)
  • SHRM Recertification Made Easy!, presented by Cornelia Springer, SHRM's director of certification services. Find out the requirements for recertification, how to earn PDCs from the widest array of activities, and when to submit your application. (June 20, 3:20 p.m.)
