Branding and social media seem like the perfect match. Whether you’re an individual or a large business, social media can help you build strategic relationships with your target audience and create a community of trust.
On June 6, We Know Next asked Susan Avello, and several of our #NextChat followers, about how individuals and organizations should be using social media to build their personal brands and transmit their corporate cultures.
For individuals, it’s important to be genuine when creating and managing an individual brand. Decide who you are and what you represent, and then create a voice that reflects it.
For organizations, it’s important that they empower their employees to create meaningful conversations using social media. Whatever their product, if they build it, market it, sell it or service it, they should be talking about it online. Smart companies will also look for ways to leverage social media for engagement, wellness, gamification, and training. Happy and engaged employees will communicate a happy culture.
