You need to follow the #SHRM18 Bloggers.
If you are in HR and want to learn something new, get a different perspective, or get out of your comfort zone, these are the people that will help you do so.
They are a mix of new and experienced professionals, from all walks of life, and a rich, diverse community of people who use their voice to advance the HR profession. They will tell the stories you need to hear before, during and after the SHRM Annual Conference.
They will expand your world.
I say all of this, not because I am lucky enough to be among those telling the story, but because for many years I have done exactly what I’m recommending. I have followed the SHRM Annual Conference bloggers since I began attending in 2012. I have learned from them throughout the year, and ever since, and am proud to call many of the people I followed along the way colleagues, mentors, and friends.
And it all began with a simple step. I followed the SHRM bloggers.
There is no reason you can’t do the same!
Whether you will be at the conference in Chicago this June, or simply keeping up with everything online, the time is always right to challenge your long-held beliefs about HR while affirming the principles that led you to choose it as a profession.
The time is always right to connect with people doing the same.
