We are excited to announce that we have created the first ever #SHRM16 Geofilter on Snapchat!
What is a Geofilter?
Geofilters are location-based filters that you can add to your Snaps. You can use Geofilters on Snapchat in much the same way as you would apply a filter to a photo on Instagram. They are a fun way to share where you are, or what you're up to. For example, if you create a Snap in Manhattan, you'll see different Manhattan-based Geofilters that you can choose from to apply to your Snap.
So! Starting on Saturday, June 18, at 8:00 a.m. until Wednesday, June 20, at 6:00 p.m., within the walls of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, any time you post a Snap to your Stories or just share a Snap with friends, you’ll be given the option of adding our #SHRM16 Geofilter to your Snap! How cool is that?
Here is what our Geofilter looks like:
How to Add the #SHRM16 Geofilter to Your Snaps
After you take a Snap, simply swipe right or left on the preview screen to add colored filters, the current time, local weather, speed overlays or our #SHRM16 Geofilter to your Snaps.
Why stop with one filter? Stack filters to add even more jazz to your Snap! After taking your Snap and applying your first Filter, press and hold the screen at the same time that you swipe again to add another filter.
Note: You must have Location Services and Filters enabled in your Snapchat Settings in order for our Geofilter to appear as an option in your Snapchat.
