A #SHRM19 Interview with Everything Benefits

 

This is a 2019 SHRM Annual Conference and Exposition (#SHRM19) interview is with EverythingBenefits, a benefits administration company. Below is a quick Q&A with them.

Who is EverythingBenefits!? Tell us everything, just as you would someone approaching your booth and asking you this question at #SHRM19 in Las Vegas.

EverythingBenefits is a complete benefits administration company that really works with companies one of two ways. Either as that single source of truth and system of record related to benefits, or as a solution to layer into a company's current payroll or HR system of record. Our executive team comes from the Payroll space and we understand that companies want to get as much possible out of one single system. Because of this we have formed integrations with over 200 payroll & HR companies throughout the country to fill specific gaps within the benefit module, eliminating the need to double input data into a complete separate system.

Let us in on the magic. What are the benefits of working at EverythingBenefits? How do you utilize your own tech and processes to ensure your employees get what they deserve?

Our company culture has made working at EverythingBenefits a really fun and exciting experience. Whether in sales, implementation, support or marketing everyone collaborates together to continuously increase our footprint in the space.

Our new artifical intelligence (AI) functionality for open enrollment helps ensure that the employees select the best benefit coverage that matches their needs. EverythingBenefits is always striving to make the tasks that may have been tedious and time consuming in the past as automated and streamlined as possible.

What are the biggest challenges companies face when switching to a new system? How do they overcome those challenges?

I hear companies all the time discussing the pain of making a software switch and how long the migration of data can take. With our technology we eliminate a large amount of the setup time to receive as much data as possible from a client's system of record.

What makes EverythingBenefits unique?

One of our big goals when entering the space was integrations and making a client transition and decision to choose us an easy one. On average we are getting new clients setup within two weeks and the key is having our team take the lead on configuring a clients system and not just supplying instructions on how the client can do it themselves. Once up and running the client has the ability to run and pull an unlimited amount of reports without having to put in a case or request to our team.

We are also a proactive solution, rather than reactive. We actively listen in to employees’ real-life qualifying events as they occur through our deep integration with the client’s system of record. We make timely, accurate, and relevant updates automatically, freeing up our clients’ time for other activities and projects.

How important are benefits in employee productivity and satisfaction?

With the competitive landscape of finding new talent increasing it is important to offer great benefits to your employees. Outside of the typical insurance coverage I consistently see an increase in voluntary benefits and company perks get offered. Even if it’s something as small as having shorter summer hours on Fridays it increase an employees moral.
