Paul LaLonde, SHRM-CP, is Vice President of Operations & Human Resources at Voluntary Action Center in Sycamore, IL, a nonprofit that provides nutrition and transit services to seniors and individuals with disabilities in a five county region in northern Illinois. Paul is passionate about HR, helping others, and doing the right thing. He is an alumnus of Northern Illinois University where he earned a B.A. in History and Political Science and a Master of Public Administration. He currently serves as President of the Kishwaukee Association of Human Resources (KAHR) and Secretary for the Illinois Fox Valley Chapter of SHRM. Paul is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, Game of Thrones geek, and heavy metal enthusiast (it’s all about the riff). He resides in Sycamore with his wide and son and their two disobedient cats.
